    • Joachim in 1872 was earning £6 a month in a bookseller's shop at Riga, but in April, 1873, he accepted a similar situation at Vienna. Ernst Satow had some correspondance with him about 1876. Hugo's letter of 1902 reports him as being then no longer alive.
